Teachers and staff at USD 290 are getting ready for an exciting school year. Sunflower Elementary is welcoming a new principal this year. Andrea Stipe Jones the staff at Sunflower. She says, “She is looking forward to a great year. With school fast approaching, she runs us through a list of firsts.”
Twenty-five teachers are on staff in the Ottawa district this year, the smallest number of new staff members in over 10 years.
