One big problem when repairing county roads is buried telephone lines. Franklin County Public Works Director David Lee says, “Many of the lines are not deep enough in the ground, which means road crews are often cutting phone lines.”
Lee says, “The county can’t inspect all the buried phone lines and some of the contractors burying the lines don’t much care about their work.”
