The completion of the pre-k addition at Garfield Elementary is eagerly anticipated by not only USD 290 staff but also the people of Ottawa. Ottawa is in desperate need of preschool programs and assistant superintendent Josh Robinson says, “The district would like to fill that void.”
Robinson says, “Once opened, one class, will move from Sunflower to Garfield to house the english learner program as well.”
