Franklin County is one county chosen by state authorities to test a new 911 technology that comes from South Africa. Emergency Medical Services Director Nick Robbins says, “The new system enables very precise location of an incident.”
Robbins says, “The technology has been in South Africa for a while, but is fairly new to the United States.”
