The start of the new school year in Ottawa is only a few days old, but the students at Ottawa High School are off to a good start. Their schedules are a bit different this year. Each student has been assigned a teacher advisor to help them throughout their time at OHS. Principal Kellye Whittaker says, “The kids are glad to be back.”
The new performing arts center at the school should be opening in a couple of months, bringing the bond issue projects to fruition.
