If the ditches are filled with rocks and dirt, then water can’t drain off county roads…which of course means more road damage. Franklin County Public Works Director David Lee says an all-out effort is being made to clean ditches.
Lee has said previously that it will take the rest of this year and maybe into next year to get county roads back into the condition they were before all the flooding started in the spring.
