USD 290 Superintendent Doctor Ryan Cobbs will be their first to admit that the district had not done a very good job preparing teachers for the classroom. That will change this year, the USD 290 board had approved a structural framework to help teachers provide a higher level of education for all students. Cobbs says it’s time to help them out. He adds that the hope is to see a big improvement in student achievement, across the board because of the new initiatives.
