The Paola council will hold a special work study meeting this evening to discuss a variety of topics. One topic will be a presentation from the trails committee to discuss Paola pathways.
Paola pathways is a multi-use trails system connecting the community of Paola, Kansas. The system links key locations throughout the city, especially schools, parks, and recreational facilities. Trails include a variety of surfaces and distances designed for walker, runners, and bicyclists.
Other topics on the agenda include a review of a proposed housing incentive program, a talk of possible roadway improvement projects and the tobacco 21 policy.
