A plane registered to a man in Ottawa has crashed in Morgan County Utah. Local authorities said the Cessna 210 aircraft went down this morning in a mountainous area about 4 miles West of Henefer. The two people on board the plane died in the crash.
Further details about the two people, such as medical conditions, ages or identities were not immediately available. FAA records show the plane is registered out of Ottawa, Kansas. It was manufactured in 1974.
Federal aviation administration spokesman, Allen Kenitzer, says the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the crash. It’s not clear where the plane took off from or where it was flying to at the time of the crash.
