The Kansas State Fair opened Thursday in Hutchinson. One of the things people who go to the fair look forward to is the food. Fair food can get a little on the crazy side. This year, vendors were encouraged to come up with different items for their menus, and if it is on one vendors menu, it won’t be allowed on another. New food items this year include chocolate covered corndogs, crispy cream hot dogs, fried cheesecake bites, and honey bun burgers. Along with your favorties, fried oreos, snickers and much more!
