Legacy Square will be officially opened this morning with a ribbon cutting by city officials, the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and many of the people who made the project possible. The multi event center at the intersection of the Prairie Spirit Trail and the Flint Hills Nature Trail at First and Walnut Street, is in it’s final stages. Chamber President John Coen says progress has been happening quickly.
The ribbon cutting is at 8 this morning at Legacy Square. The public is invited to attend and tour the area. And then tonight at 6 is the grand opening of Legacy Square, highlighted by a free concert by Travis Marvin.
