Kansas has long been known as the wheat state. That however is probably not the case anymore and perhaps hasn’t been for some time. In Ottawa to discuss the new farm bill, Kansas State Farm Economist Robin Reid noted that a lot of nations grow wheat.
Reid also discussed the effect on the farm economy caused by tariffs on china.
