As Paul Bean takes over as the new director of the franklin county development council, he recognizes the need for several different things to attract business to franklin county. The need for more affordable housing, showcasing our school and developing a stronger work force. He says the Ottawa school are really working on building student skills.
Bean will take over the position in late October and says his first priority will be to get to know the businesses that are in the county now and working with county leaders to get their ideas on economic development.
