Whether to continue funding the Ottawa Main Street association took prominence once again during the city commission study session. Ottawa Mayor Blake Jorgensen noted he has heard from several businesses.
The commission at least on a tentative basis, decided to request proposals from any other interested organization that might be interested in downtown economic development. Commissioners did make clear that the Main Street association can submit their ideas along with other interested groups.
