Three injury accidents over the weekend, two involving motorcycles. 60-year-old Sonja Compton of Leavenworth was riding on the back of a cycle driven by 68-year-old James Compton when she fell off the 2009 Harley Davidson. The accident happened on I-35 South of Ottawa. She was transported to Advent Health Ottawa for treatment.
The second happened in the early morning hours Saturday in the 3500 block of John Brown Highway near Princeton. 39-year-old Kenneth Manning of Wellsville was traveling West at struck a cow. Manning and his passenger, 33-year-old Brittani Mays of Melvern sustained injuries and were transported to Overland Park Regional Hospital for treatment.
The third accident happened yesterday afternoon 59-year-old Dennis Beasley of Pomona was traveling East in a 2007 Freightliner when he struck a Ford f-250 driven by 30-year-old Todd George of Riverside Missouri. The Ford was acting as a pilot car in front of Beasley when it attempted to turn around and pulled in front of him. Beasley was transported to Advent Health for treatment of his injuries.
