It appears that the Ottawa city commission may have settled on how an electric rate increase will be implemented. During the regular commission study session, commissioner Tom Weigand and others discussed a 10 percent increase effective October first, with another 10 percent October first of 2020.
City commissioners are expected to make a final decision on rate increases at their September 18th meeting.
