You know it’s September when you hear the roar of engines coming from Forest Park. The 25th annual Power of the Past Tractor and Engine Show is this weekend in Ottawa. People from all over the nation will be flocking to Ottawa for the show.
Power of the Past President, Dave Reeves says it’s important to show younger generations that have never experienced farm life, the way things used to be done and for older people to come out and see the farm equipment of their youth.
The show will feature Ford tractors, and Cushman engines, but all are welcome hundreds of tractors, gas engines, demonstrations of what they can do and a parade of power in the park daily, along with activities for all ages. And, don’t forget the free ham and bean dinner tomorrow night!
