The 25 annual power of the past antique tractor and engine show is going on this weekend at forest park. This year featuring ford tractors and Cushman engines.
The show is so much more than just a tractor show. Power of the past president calls it a learning experience where the future meets the past. Activities today include demonstration on threshing, straw baling, horse drawn feed grinding and hay baling, rope making, corn silage blowing, a cider press and much much more. The day will be highlighted by a parade of power around the park by dozens of old tractors at 2 this afternoon. There will be live music tonight by the odds and ends band. The show runs through tomorrow. Come on down, bring the kids and grand kids and see how things used to be on the farm, or check out the farm equipment of your youth.
