As kofo is approaching our 70th year of serving Ottawa, a lot of memories are coming back. KOFO’s Derek Chappell and Jeff Brewer, second generation employees at the station, talked with Derek’s dad Tom Chappell, who worked at the station, “back in the day”, so to speak, and again more recently. He says things were a lot different the second time around.
Tom will talk about his time at kofo, some of the memories he has of past employees, including Jeff’s dad, Burt Brewer, and how time have changed in the radio business over the years.
