The attacks on Saudi Arabian oil production have not impacted Kansans at the pump to this point, but it will happen soon. Shawn steward at triple “a” Kansas says drivers should expect an increase of 25 cents or more per gallon by mid week. Prior to the attacks, supply was healthy, but crude oil is trading well higher than it was last week.
Steward says though it’s too early to tell the specific impact on Kansas, it’s easy to see what factors will determine its duration.
The price of gas in Ottawa, as of this morning, was $2.39 a gallon.
