The Garnett City Commission has designated this week as fall clean up week in the city. And, you can get rid of many different items. There were rules however. Brush, leaves, paper, metal, appliances, furniture, lumber, rock and concrete, shingles and sheet rock can all be taken care of, however, they do need to be in completely separate piles and officials emphasize that items not in separate files will not be picked up.
