This week is Farm Safety Week and since we live in a agriculture community, it’s important to know some safety tips. In this area, collisions with farm vehicles are very common, particularly rear end collisions because farm vehicles move slower than our cars and trucks. USDA’s Mike Station has some tips to avoid those crashes.
He adds that drivers need to be aware of farm vehicles making left hand turns and realize there may not be a turn signal.
