The last round of flooding is going to force the franklin county public works department to divert money earmarked for other projects to repair a more urgent drainage structure. Public Works Director David Lee says the structure has been on the edge for some time.
Lee says the top of the road caved in….lee proposed installing a concrete structure at a cost of over 200 thousand dollars. The county commission asked lee to study other options to see if cheaper solutions are available.
