This week is child passenger safety week. Safe Kids Kansas and the Franklin County Health Department want to help you make sure your car seat is properly fitted to your car. Jennifer Watkins from the Health Department says properly installing the seat is very important.
She adds that most people don’t read the manual when they buy a car seat, thinking they will just “know” what to do and how to install it. But, a certified technician can make sure the seat is secure and your child is safe.
