Even with the approach of cold weather, some bridge replacements in Franklin County will be in progress. Kansas Department of Transportation Engineer Donna Schmidt told the County Commission a major project is approaching.
Schmidt’s says, “There could be a couple of night closing during which the old bridge would be dropped.” Schmidt and several other Kdot officials were at the County Commission meeting to give an update of various projects.
