Curtis Duncan worked at KOFO in two different decades, the 70’s and the 80’s. He started his radio career at a young age, when he helped Burt Brewer and Don Humphrey with interview at the Johnson County Fair at only 9 years old. From there, he visited the station as often as possible and shadowed the employees, learning everything he could. He says his first solo on air experience came at the age of 12 on a Saturday afternoon when an employee didn’t show up so he just took over.

Brad Howard will talk to Curtis this week on KOFO’s community perspective. Duncan will relate many of his memories of KOFO and where his career has taken him since, including his current position at KLOE Radio in Goodland. You can hear the entire conversation Sunday morning at 8:04.
