The Kansas Department of Transportation, or K-Dot, is expected to begin emergency culvert repair on K-31 at mile marker 10 to mile marker 11.5 today, weather permitting. Work will begin at 8:30 this morning and is expected to be completed in one day. Advance warning message boards are in place at the K-31 and K-99 junction and at the U.S. 56 and K-31 junction. K-31 will be closed during the project and motorists should expect delays and take alternative routes.
