A special agriculture forum was held at the Kansas State Fair recently. Kansas Senator Roger Marshall, Kansas AG Secretary Mike Bean and U.S. AG Ambassador Greg Dowd were the guests. They answered questions about things concerning Kansas as far as AG goes. Ambassador Dowd was asked about the quality and safety of our food in the United States and he recalled a conversation he had with an AG partner from China visiting the U.S. and his comment on the great number of meat inspectors we have in our processing plants.
