Franklin County Sheriff, Jeff Richards recently went to Washington DC with the National Sheriff’s Association. They were able to speak with President Trump and address congress to discuss that increase in meth coming across the Southern Border. Their message increase security at the border so they can decrease what come across the border. He says meth is a big problem here in Franklin County and people are affected in many ways.
He adds that the message was received well and the delegation of Sheriff’s was bi-partisan and they emphasized that this not a partisan issue and it’s congress duty to secure the nation’s borders and protect the National Security.
