With so many roads in desperate need of repair in the county. Some are bound to get overlooked. Two men from Rantoul addressed the county commission recently about the road they live on, John Brown Drive. Charlie Brinsecover and Curt Watson say there has not been any rock put on the road in 15 years and they are doing their best to maintain to road themselves. Watson says they need some help.
Brrinsecover added that he has attempted to mow the ditches also, as it was starting to look like a tunnel and added that every time the road is graded, the crown is cut off, making it difficult for the water to drain off the roadway. County officials were expected to take a look at the road this week.
