At this morning’s Ottawa City Commission meeting, which you heard right here on KOFO, 17 residential and 2 commercial properties were added to the neighborhood revitalizations program. Community development director Wyndee Lee explained that remodel project will get a 95% rebate for 5 years and new construction and commercial properties 95% for 10 years. The property taxes are not lost to the city. Mayor Blake Jorgensen explains.
