What’s stopping you from getting the flu shot? Have you heard that the shot will actually give you the flu? Not a good excuse according to Franklin County Health Department’s Jennifer Watkins.
She reminds people that just because they may have never gotten the flu, as we become older we become more vulnerable. The high dose flu shot this year covers four strains of the flu. Shots are available at the Franklin County Health Department on a walk-in basis, and as an added service, if you are unable to get out give them a call and they can send a nurse to your home.
