Franklin County would like to have better roads, particularly in new subdivision going in around the county. At this weeks commission meeting public works director David Lee told commissioners that the current standard does not allow for a very long road life.
He added that better roads are needed now and with more development expected, they need to start thinking toward the future. Commissioners approved the new higher standard unanimously.
