For those of you relying on Ash Street to get you to and from your destinations, or if you live on the street, it’s been a little rough the past several months as crews have been installing the new storm water drainage system from 7th to 2nd. However there is good news. Ottawa Public Works Director Michael Haeffle gave an update to City Commissioners.
The street is still restricted to those who live on Ash and precautions need to be taken when driving on the street as there will be equipment and workers on the street. Also, officials urge people to slow down as the project finishes up.
