A special ribbon cutting will take place tomorrow morning in LeRoy. They will be cutting a ribbon for “Heart of a Champion, The Life of Coach Bill Freeman” at the mural depicting him on the side of the Assembly of God Church Activity Building. Freeman is a legendary coach in the state of Kansas. He coached Kansas Hall of Fame and Green Bay Packers Quarterback Lynn Dickey at Osawatomie High School and led them to two state championships. From there, it was on to Lawrence High where he took the lions football team to 5 state championships and added two more in track and field. Lynn Dickey will be on hand to sign autographs. The fun starts at 11 tomorrow morning.
