The Kansas Rails-To-Trails epic Ultra Fall Classic is coming to Ottawa Saturday. The event features a variety of distances run on the Prairie Spirit Trail. All the way from a 13 mile half-marathon to a 100-mile-long distance race.
Event Director Carolyn Robinson says the race draws runners from all across the nation.
Check-in for the race is Friday night and things get started early Saturday morning at 6. All the distances, except the marathon and half-marathon will start at Celebration Hall and proceed south on the Prairie Spirit Trail. There will be finishers coming in all day and the public is encouraged to come out to Celebration Hall and welcome the runners in.
