The weather doesn’t seem to be cooperating for harvest today so why not attend the FSA Farm Bill information meeting in Overbrook. According to Franklin County Conservation District Manager Kerri Harris, the meeting hosted by the USDA Farm Service Agency in Coffey, Douglas, Franklin, Osage, and Shawnee counties will go over ARC and PLC livestock programs and many other topics related to the new Farm Bill. If you have any questions about the Farm Bill or anything associated with it, be sure to attend the meeting. The Farm Bill meeting will be held this afternoon at 1:30 at Grace Community Church in Overbrook.
