U.S Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue announced that the USDA has established rules for the U.S Hemp Production Program in an effort to provide American producers with another viable crop. The announcement came in time for potential producers to make panning decisions for the upcoming year.
The rule becomes effective immediately after publication in the Federal Register. There will be a public comment period for those interested in providing input.
