Douglas County has postponed the groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for this afternoon on the Treatment and Recovery Campus of Douglas County. It has been rescheduled for noon on Friday, November 8.

The ceremony will mark the beginning of construction for two housing projects that will be located on the campus. One, called Transitions, will be a supportive living setting, serving up to 12 clients of the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center. It is designed to enhance recovery and transition back into the community. The other, called “The Cottages,” are supportive housing apartments for up to 10 people and are owned by the Douglas County Housing Authority and will assist those who need support services in recovery from addictions.

The ceremony will be held Friday, November 8 at noon.
