An injury accident on I-35 sent several people to the hospital over the weekend. At about 10:45 Saturday night at approximately mile marker 191, 64-year-old Vernon Vettis of Topeka was Southbound in his tractor trailer when he was rear ended by a vehicle driven by Omar Abdul Jaleel of Wichita. Both vehicles left the roadway to the right. The truck tractor overturned. All the occupants in Abdul Jaleel’s vehicle were taken to advent health for treatment of possible injuries. No further details about the crash are available.
