There’s a lot of roads and bridges in Kansas that need fixing, but the money to take care of them all simply isn’t there. Franklin County Public Works Director David Lee says the Kansas Department of Transportation is in a dilemma.
Lee says he wants Franklin County to be more aggressive in applying for the scarce KDOT dollars so county projects can be better maintained.
