You may have noticed quite a bit of development in and around the Ottawa area. As Ottawa grows, a lot of business owners are wanting to make Ottawa look good to visitors in hopes they will come back. Every little bit helps, from sprucing up buildings around Legacy Square to fixing up homes to attract people to the area. Planning commission member and owner of the new corner cafe in downtown Ottawa, Josh Walker says for years, a lot of people had an attitude that Ottawa can’t have the nice things, which is changing.
He adds that it doesn’t have to be big projects, everyone can help by just cleaning up, making things look good and supporting the businesses that do go in.
