It’s Election Day and area communities have some very important issues to vote on today. On the ballot in Wellsville will be a sales tax proposal. The same tax question failed in the last election, but city officials are trying to better inform the public on what it will be used for. Franklin County Clerk Janet Paddock explains.
The city is wanting to collect funds to help with the library and in preserving historical buildings on Main Street.
