The Ottawa City Commission meets tonight and several items are on the agenda. The commission is expected to approve an agreement for joint municipal court for both Princeton and Richmond for the enforcement of nuisance ordinances and protection of public health. It was noted at Monday’s study session that smaller towns don’t have the resources to have their own courts. Another topic will be approving an update on alcohol and enhanced cereal malt beverages to comply with state regulations. City Attorney Blaine Finch says there also has to be some clarification on liquor sales at public venues.
The city commission meeting will be held tonight at 7 at the City Hall Commission Chambers. KOFO will air the meeting in it’s entirety for you.
