November is National Alzheimer’s awareness month. When President Reagan recognized the disease in the 1980s, less than 2 million Americans had it. Now 1 in 10 Americans age 65 and older are experiencing the effects of Alzheimer’s. Experts say that number could triple in the next 30 years without any advancements in research.
