Two injury accidents involving pedestrians occurred in downtown Ottawa Friday afternoon at the same corner, within a half hour of each other. The first just before 3:30, a Ford Escape driven by a 17-year-old girl from Pomona struck Diann Prentice who was crossing the street. She was transported to Advent Health for treatment of minor injuries. The second, about 4:30, a Nissan Murano driven by Sarah Meredith of Ottawa struck Sasha Dodson as she crossed the street. Dodson complained of minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital. Neither driver was cited in the incidents.
