Ottawa University has announced a partnership with Mammoth Turf who will assist in replacing the turf on the baseball and softball fields as well as construct a multipurpose practice field at the Peters Complex. OU Chancellor Kevin Eichner says the project will allow the university to do a lot of things.

Eichner added that they are also looking into having JV and Varsity games at the same time to reduce team travel times and expenses. The construction project has already started and Mammoth says the field should be ready to go for the spring sports season. Mammoth Turf is owned by former OU football player Jake Farrant and is considered to be the premier turf installation brand in the midwest.
