Five years of construction, fences, barricades, parking issues, and weather setbacks. After all that, Ottawa High School finally has use of the new Performing Arts Center. OHS Principal Kelly Whitaker says it’s a sense of relief to finally be able to open the building up to the public. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, November 22nd. Whitaker says the whole building and what it can do will be on display.
The official ribbon cutting opening the building will be at 2:30 Friday the 22nd. The public is welcome and encouraged to come see what is being billed as the crown jewel of the bond issue project.
