Word that Ottawa University is partnering with Mammoth Turf to re-do the baseball and softball fields as well as construct a new multipurpose field at Peters Sports Complex has the campus abuzz with excitement. Chancellor Kevin Eichner says their not done with renovations and offered a tease of what’s to come.
Mammoth Turf, run by former OU Football player Jake Farrant, will be involved in the project. Eichner says though Farrant didn’t graduate from OU, he considers it his home school and wasn’t to give back all he can to help the University grow.
