USD 290 has been presented with a very prestigious award from a group called Cognia. They are a worldwide agency that helps over 40,000 schools through the accreditation process. The award recognizes schools that have distinct values and are being bold and daring in their innovation of school. Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs, Assistant Superintendent Josh Robinson and Curriculum Director Amy Bybee accepted the award at the Cognia Midwest Connect Conference in Chicago recently.
Ottawa was the only Kansas school to receive the award and one of few nationwide.
